Kingwood Carpet Cleaning gets the job done using state of the art truck-mounted deep steam cleaning equipment. We clean at a constant temperature of 195-200 degrees with a cleaning pressure of 400 psi. We hook-up to your outside water source and that goes into the van where the water heater, vacuum and pressure pump are located. The only equipment coming into your home is the high pressure hose, vacuum hose and the cleaning wand.
The dirty water is extracted to the van into a holding tank. Our prices include pre-treating, spot removal and working on all problem areas, such as high traffic paths from the kitchen, bathrooms, etc.
Pricing also includes light furniture moving, such as end tables, coffee tables and dining room chairs. Furniture is set on blocks and tabs which can be removed after carpet is dry.
Speaking of drying, all carpet and situations are not equal. Dry time depends on a several factors. The two main factors are how plush the carpet is and how soiled it is. Average dry time is 4-6 hours. The more air movement in the room (ceiling fan on high and/or air conditioning a few degrees cooler) will speed up the drying time. Outside conditions (cloudy or rainy) play little in the dry time due to the humidity in the house remaining constant.

Then give us a call and we can clean the room and apply an enzyme to help eliminate the odor. Also keep in mind that any odor eliminator has to get on the problem to solve the problem. So if the urine has soaked down to the carpet pad, or even the slab in severe cases, cleaning and applying the enzyme will only knock the problem down, not eliminate it. So treat the problem as soon as possible and don’t let it get out of hand.
